The brands who are crushing it today know who their customers are and then build aspirational worlds around them. But this isn’t really a surprise. One company is Hipcamp, which has taken the Airbnb model and applied it to camping destinations around the world. 

Starting out in Big Sur (California) whilst watching waves, they’re growing, and at a fast pace.  Hipcamp is a great example of knowing who your customer is and doing something for them, and you can see it in their promo video. They don’t use models, they’re beautiful people just like you and I (well, maybe not me and Gregor), who are enjoying the great outdoors. That’s an A+ for knowing their customer and doing things for them – way to crush it, Alyssa Ravasio.
